Why You And Janet Jackson Are Unbreakable

Janet Jackson Unbreakable How to Resilience

As I'm sure most of you are aware Ms Janet Jackson is in the midst of her Unbreakable tour, a tour that's taking us down memory lane while giving us a taste of the new album under the same name set to be released on October 2, 2015.

Tomorrow the tour makes its way to  my city of Toronto, and although I couldn't be more excited, I'm unfortunately not going. The pre-sales for her album on iTunes was in the Top 10 the week of Sep 3 and trending on Twitter. Not bad for someone who hasn't released an album in 7 years!

Not only is Janet touring, releasing a new album, and starting a new record label called Rhythm Nation (see video above), she's also launching a new jewelery line. That's a fair amount of projects for any 49 year old. I know she has a supportive team behind her, helping her make this all possible, which is why I mentioned yesterday that you need group of likeminded individuals that are willing to help you be great.

If there's anything that we can learn from Janet's endeavours it's that it is never too late, and you can do anything you set your mind too, regardless of what you've been through. The album, which is a tribute to her late brother Michael, is appropriately entitled "Unbreakable" because as you can clearly tell, she's still standing.

Too many times the average person is full excuses of why they can't do xyz. But I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you can have excuses or you can have results, you can't have both. Having suffered through loss, Janet is coming back harder than ever with all these new projects as a testament to her resilience.

I'm sure you've had your own battles to fight and rivers to cross, conquering both loss, sickness, and hardships of different sorts. The mere fact that your still here though says you're unbreakable and speaks to your resilience, so why not get back up swinging? There's existing, and then there's living. My homepage says that life isn't a dress-rehearsal, because it isn't. You get one shot at this thing called life, so make the most of it.

Love y'all.

Be blessed!
