Calling Those Things That Are Not As Though They Are
Today is actually Tuesday, I'm currently 2 days behind on this blog which some of you may have noticed, but I'm determined to get caught up, lol. So here we go...
Sunday is the first day of the week on the calendar and it's also the beginning of a brand new month. So to November I say, WELCOME! I want you guys to be expectant of what this month can and will bring about. If you never expect anything it's hard to actually achieve and receive anything.
Which brings me to the importance of setting goals. For the month of October I had a goal of working out for 30 min, Mon-Fri, and because I went into the month with that expectation of myself, guess what happened? I worked everyday, Mon-Fri, for min 30 min. There were actually 2 days when I only worked out for 15 min due to time constraint one day, and the other my body was so soar, I just couldn't push myself, lol. But if I didn't have that goal, guess what...nothing would've come of it.
Another goal I have, which is more long term, is that I WILL have 365 blog posts up on here by August 28. When I started I said I'm blogging 7 days a week for a year. I may be behind right now, but all that means is that I have to catch up. I'm COMMITTED to this goal guys, like no joke.
The same level of commitment needs to be applied to your life and career goals. Very few things in life just happen. They've either been prayed into existence, declared, or worked into existence. All of which require you to know what you want and take some form of action towards it. Sometimes all you can do is pray and declare a thing, and that's an awesome place to start. The bible says to call those things that are not as though they are (Rom 4:17 KJV), so don't let anyone make you think you're crazy. Your not! It's biblical.
So if you haven't already, get your pen and paper out, and WRITE DOWN what it is you want to see happen in the month of November. Don't write down what you don't want to see, only write down what you do want to see. Let's get it on and popping, cause November is gonna be one outstanding month (I claim it!), in Jesus name.
Be blessed!
