Is A Hunch Ever Just That, Or The Seed Of Opportunity?

Hey everyone!!

I want to sincerely and wholeheartedly apologise for my absence these past couple of days. There's been quite a bit going on, and then I fell behind 2 days which led to 3, 10, 20. Somehow the burden of catching up took the best of me, and I started thinking, maybe I set too big of a goal to blog every day.

Have you ever felt that way? You fall short of a goal, and then try to "justify" it by saying the goal was too big to begin with? If you have I want to let you know it's a lie! Like DJ Khaled says on his Snapchat, "They don't want us to be great." Whoever "they" are, even if it's you, don't buy into it. Just like Eddie Murphy tells his wife-to-be in 'Coming to America', "Your first reaction is usually the correct one." Your initial inclination to do something, a sudden desire, is the one you should stick with. When we begin to overthink we risk killing something before it's given the chance to develop.

Even if logic and "experts" say you should do XYZ, do what the Holy Spirit said to do. Now, I'm not saying don't take advice. It would behove you to seek wisdom from those wiser than you when you have no inclination whatsoever. That's a different scenario however than trying to talk yourself out of something, and calling it "being wise".

The fact that I've been doing this over the past 3 weeks obviously means I'm not passing judgement. My only plea here is that I don't want us to miss out on the blessings that God has for us. There's a reason He gave you that hunch, that feeling, that desire. Don't look at your current status, circumstance, or apparent lack of experience. Just pound the pavement and pursue your dream.

Be blessed!
